What an interesting week in the NFL that somehow didn't turn into a ton of crazy opportunities off the waiver wire, but I believe a few very intriguing ones. Let's dive right into some of the best options to help solidify your team!
IND QB Matt Ryan (11.2% Owned)
The Colts passing offense is starting to turn a corner and for that reason, and the fact that they now face 2 bottom tier passing defenses the next 2 weeks, Matt Ryan is a good streaming pick up. Ryan scored 17.84 points vs the Titans in their first meeting of the season and now faces them again just 3 weeks later, but I still see a good output in his future.
BAL RB Kenyan Drake (1.6% Owned)
JK Dobbins is back, but he is still not 100% right and did leave the Ravens game in week 6 with knee tightness. It could be a precautionary move that means nothing in the long term, but if he misses time, Drake looks good. This add is also dependent on the return of Gus Edwards, but I also believe the Ravens will ease him in when he returns.
ARI WR Rondale Moore (3.7% Owned)
I’m going to double down on Rondale Moore this week, one week after he was featured on this same column. Moore did not have an explosive day, but he did see 10 targets in a tough matchup. I expected a fall off once Hopkins returns (he returns this week vs. New Orleans), but fellow WR Marquise Brown is down with a foot injury, so he should continue a WR2 role in this offense.
NYG WR Wan’Dale Robinson (1.4% Owned)
The Giants have a huge hole at the WR position and Robinson looked good coming off of his injury. He was limited in this game, only playing 23% of snaps as the Giants eased him back in, but he still saw 4 targets and caught a TD in limited action. Look for him to get even more involved as the season progresses.
IND WR Alec Pierce (21.8% Owned)
The Colts passing attack is starting to get it together in recent weeks and it is no longer just Michael Pittman catching passes. Alec Pierce now has 3 straight games of 10 or more half-PPR fantasy points on 6, 9, and 7 target games. Pierce is looking like he could be a solid bye week fill in the coming weeks.
GB TE Robert Tonyan (16.2% Owned)
The TE dart throw of the week belongs to Robert Tonyan! Any of these TEs are tough to get output from week to week but Tonyan saw an insane 12 targets in week 6, so we can all hope that means some kind of sustained success in the future.
