It’s the last week before the Fantasy Playoffs (If it’s not you need to talk to your commissioner) Some of you need a Win to get in. Some of you may need win + help. Whatever the case may be you have to get your lineup right. Oh, and it's bye-pocalypse 2.0. So here is some week 14 start/sit. This list will exclude the every-week lineup starters, like Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, Travis Kelce, etc. Let’s get into it.
Bye Week Teams: Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints Washington Commanders,
"STARTS" OF THE WEEK: QB
Jared Goff vs Minnesota Vikings
So it might surprise you, but the Lions are favorites in this game. At the time of writing this, they are 2.5 points favorites. Vegas must know something or don’t trust the Vikings. We know the Lions' offense can put up points, and Goff should as well facing the Vikings, who rank 25th against fantasy QBs.
Kirk Cousins vs Detroit Lions
In the same matchup as above. We expect points. The Lions give up the most points in the league to fantasy QBs. So while the Lions are the favorite in the game, Kirk Cousin is my favorite streamer of the week.

Ryan Tannehill vs Jacksonville Jaguars
This one is for my deeper leagues or 2QB leagues. Tannehill hasn’t been great this season. Some would attribute it to his lack of weapons. However, this week he gets to face the Jags, who the Titans have owned since he became the QB. The Jags are also giving up 16+ points on average to fantasy QBs.
"SITS" OF THE WEEK: QB
Deshaun Watson vs Cincinnati Bengals
Watson looked like a guy who hadn’t played in 700+ days last week. This week he gets a Top 6 team against fantasy quarterbacks. You shouldn’t play him this week either.
Tom Brady vs San Francisco 49ers
The Bucs' offense is a mess. Yes, they finally got a win against the Saints in the regular season, but this week they have the 49ers with a top 5 defense; which has an elite D-line. Keep Brady on the bench this week.
Dak Prescott vs Houston Texans
Yes. The Texans are bad. But they are so bad fantasy QBs can’t score on them. There is only one team giving up fewer points in fantasy to the quarterback position than the Texans this season. Just 2 weeks ago, Tua didn’t play in the 4th quarter because of their lead, and he didn’t even throw 300 yards. Not Dak this week, but I will have some cowboys below.
"STARTS" OF THE WEEK: RB
Tony Pollard/Ezekiel Elliot vs Houston Texans.
That didn’t take long. I just mentioned why you shouldn’t play Dak and it goes hand in hand with why you should play the running backs. The Texans are really bad against the run. Dead last in terms of fantasy rankings. I wouldn’t be surprised if both Cowboys running backs saw 100+ total yards and a touchdown.
Donta Foreman vs Seattle Seahawks
If you looking for a spot start due to bye. Donta Foreman gets a positive match-up against the Seahawks (Ranked 29th). Also, he has 2 double-digit performances in his last 3 games. Now, he did pop up on the injury report on Wednesday so we will have to monitor his status for the rest of the week.
Cam Akers vs Las Vegas Raiders
Call me crazy, but Akers is coming off an 18.5-point game where he saw 17 carries. He has seemed to take command of the backfield. It also helps the Raiders are giving up an average of 28 points per game to Fantasy RBs.
Bonus: Samaje Perine vs Cleveland Browns
If Perine gets the start because Mixon doesn’t clear concussion protocol he can be right back in your lineup.
"SITS" OF THE WEEK: RB
Travis Etienne vs Tennessee Titans
Tennessee is the Top rushing defense in the NFL. They are top 7 against fantasy running backs. And we don’t know who will be the QB. It’s not looking like a good week for Travis Etienne.
Najee Harris vs Baltimore Ravens
It’s going to be hard to bench Najee, but this week doesn’t make sense to play him. He didn’t hit double digits last week in a positive matchup and this week he gets the #8 ranked Ravens.
Zonovan “Bam” Knight vs Buffalo Bills
It’s going to be hard to bench Najee, but this week doesn’t make sense to play him. He didn’t hit double dights last week in a positive matchup and this week he gets the #8 ranked Ravens.
"STARTS" OF THE WEEK: WR
Garrett Wilson vs Buffalo Bills
Unless the Jets shock the world and go back to Zach Wilson this week. Garret Wilson is a must-start. He saw 15 targets last week and 8 the week before. He is Mike White’s #1 option and the Bills are allowing points to fantasy wide receivers.
Dionte Johnson vs Baltimore Ravens
Dionte seems to be the forgotten man in Pittsburgh. Mainly because he hasn’t found the end zone this year. I think that it changes this week. He still saw 11 targets a week ago, and the ravens allow an average of almost 37 points to fantasy WRs.
Christian Kirk vs Tennessee Titans
The Texans wide receivers have to be on this list as the Titans give up the most points to fantasy WRs. However, there is a huge question mark on whether Lawerence will play this week. If he doesn’t and it’s CJ Bethard I think you can still roll the dice with Kirk to be the #1 option.
"SITS" OF THE WEEK: WR
Gabe Davis vs New York Jets
The Jets' secondary is legit in real life and in fantasy. They are currently the 3rd best for fantasy; while Gabe Davis hasn’t shown the consistency to be in your lineup.
Devonta Smith vs New York Giants
Smith had a big game against the Titans in week 13. Don’t look for that to repeat against their Division rival. The Giants are #8 against fantasy WRs; which means avoiding the secondary pass-catching options.
Marquisse “Hollywood” Brown
The Cardinals are coming off a bye, and play Monday night. Hollywood has been solid all season when healthy. I think you could do worse, but it is a tough matchup against the Patriots, who are Top 10 against fantasy WRs.
"STARTS" OF THE WEEK: TE
Hunter Henery vs Arizona Cardinals
Another week of trying to figure out which tight end will catch a touchdown? The Cardinals give up the most points to the positions, so why not bet on Hunter Henry?
Gerald Everett vs Miami Dolphins
Everett continues to be a part of the offense. Especially with Mike Williams out. If he is out this week it's a no-brainer to put him in your lineup. If Williams is back, I still think you can play him vs the dolphins who give up almost 15 points a week on average to Tight ends.
"SITS" OF THE WEEK: TE
Cade Otten vs San Francisco 49ers
Cade Otten caught the game-winning touchdown. Finished as TE3 in week 13. Don’t chase the points. The 49ers are the #1 team against fantasy tight ends.
Noah Fant vs Carolina Panthers
Another guy I would recommend not chasing the points. Fant finished as TE2 in week 13 but gets a tough matchup with the Carolina Panthers this week. Yes, the Carolina Panthers are a tough matchup for fantasy Tight ends. They are Top 10 in points allowed.
"STARTS" OF THE WEEK: DST
Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos
This game was flexed out of SNF because of how bad the Broncos' offense is. That should be reason enough to start the Chiefs.
Bengals DST vs Cleveland Browns
The Browns' offense took a step back with the QB change last week. Until they turn it around you can stream the defense against them. New Orleans is coming off a week of getting shut out. Don’t think it happens 2 times in a row, but they did only score 10 when these teams squared off earlier this season.
"SITS" OF THE WEEK: DST
Jets DST vs Buffalo Bills
While the Jets are top 10 fantasy defense they face the bills. Who they surprisingly played really well against, but can they repeat it? I’m not so sure they can.
Vikings DST vs Detroit Lions
The Lions can score points and like I mentioned at the top of the article. Vegas has the lions as a favorite. Don’t rely on the Vikings this week.
