Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

This week’s waiver wire seems very underwhelming, but I noticed one interesting thing. There are multiple people on the column this week that I mentioned in the last 2-3 weeks. Paying attention to trends and not chasing fantasy points (whether it is chasing a good week or jumping ship on a bad week) are some the best ways to get ahead in your league. So, who are some of these guys who need to be added? Let’s jump in!

KC RB Isiah Pacheco (30.9% Owned)

Again, Pacheco was the starter and he completely disappeared. For this reason, he isn’t the greatest looking pickup, but look at the situation. The Titans are a stout defense vs the run. The Chiefs were also playing from behind for most of the game. That situation does not happen often and on top of all of that, Pacheco still led the Chiefs in carries. It will get better for him when they play weaker defenses and can play from ahead.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier (32.8% Owned)

Do you need an example of a RB having delayed success to feel better about Pacheco? Look at Tyler Allgeier. He became the starter when Patterson got hurt and he put up 4 and 5 points his first 2 weeks as a starter (in red matchups). Now, he is on a streak of 3 straight games of 10+, even with Patterson coming back this week. I am shocked to see Allgeier is this widely available, but we were very unsure of his workload with Patterson coming back. Now seeing that he got 10 carries, he need to be rostered regardless of Patterson’s status.

MIA RB Jeff Wilson (38.4% Owned)

Everyone seemed to jump off the Jeff Wilson bandwagon right when the trade happened. I’ll admit, I did it too! Then, this week brought him right back like a boomerang. Despite being in the building for less than a week, Wilson tied Mostert with 9 touches and scored a TD. Maybe Miami will make him the starting RB, and I am not waiting to find out. Add him now.

DEN RB Chase Edmonds (41.5% Owned)

This weeks RB wire isn’t amazing, but one speculative add that should happen is Edmonds. The Broncos could have a horrible split, but Murray isn’t that amazing and Gordon has fumbling issues. Those things open the door for an explosive RB like Edmonds to have fantasy relevance.

CAR WR Terrace Marshall Jr. (0.5% Owned)

Here we are again with Terrance Marshall. Last week, I spoke about Marshall’s uptick in targets thanks to the trades that the Panthers made. The Panthers offense then proceeded to look pathetic this week and Marshall still stayed involved and salvaged a solid day with a TD. He should continue to be a matchup based flex play as byes continue.

ARI WR Rondale Moore (15.9% Owned)

Another return to the article. Another player who should be more owned than he is. Another player that can help you stabilize your flex in a pinch. Moore saw 10 targets in week 9 and scored at least 10 for his 2nd straight week. He will never been the sexiest pickup, but with this volume and his ability to break a big play at any time, he is a solid add and matchup based flex.

CHI TE Cole Kmet (24.9% Owned)

Kmet and the Bears have looked so much better lately. Kmet is coming off of a 6 target and 2 TD game and now has TDs in 2 straight games. While I am still skeptical about Kmet, he faces the Lions in week 10, so great streaming option thanks to the matchup.
